Gail is an award-winning broadcast journalist with more than 20 years of experience in television, radio, and podcast production, driven by a passion for telling people’s stories.

As Senior Producer of Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien, the nation’s top nationally syndicated public affairs news magazine, Gail oversaw the show’s editorial direction, exploring how policy impacts people’s lives and spotlighting changemakers across the country.

Previously, Gail served as Deputy Executive Producer for NPR’s Morning Edition and Up First podcast, helping to guide coverage of major national stories, including the COVID-19 pandemic. She also field-produced multiple national and international reporting trips, including assignments in Jerusalem and Gaza.

Gail lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and their two delightfully wild boys.
